For as long as she can remember, Julie has had a passion for interior design and landscape architecture running through her blood. “Even as a child, I was an interior decorator who performed a bedroom makeover for every season and occasion."
Originally from Houston, Julie graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in marketing and advertising. She began her marketing career with positions at various companies, including The Houston Chronicle and AT&T - where she worked in the London and New York offices. Living and traveling extensively throughout Europe gave her an even greater appreciation for art, history, and architecture.
Returning to the US, she and her husband purchased a 150-year old Greek-Revival farmhouse in rural New Jersey that cemented her love of old homes, and their restoration and preservation.

Julie has returned to her Texas roots and settled in San Antonio, where she is drawn to the rich architectural heritage of the city and the surrounding Texas Hill Country. Julie is partial to the historic neighborhoods of King William, Alamo Heights, Monte Vista, Olmos Park, Terrell Hills, Monticello Park - just to name a few - and she is thrilled to work with clients who are preserving architectural gems in these historic neighborhoods.
Not limiting her practice to historic properties by any means, Julie simply enjoys the process of bringing beauty and her unique brand of design style to any home - new or old.
Julie is a graduate of the St. Mary's University Interior Design Program and is an Allied Member of ASID.
